Sridevi gets National Film Award
Finally, the 10 jury members for 65th National Film Award have announced winners for different awards at PIB Conference Room, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi. Award Ceremony is to be held on May 3rd, 2018.
The jury was lead by director Shekhar Kapur, and the other members of the panel include screenwriter Imtiaz Hussain, Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, Rumi Jaffrey, South Indian actress Gautami Tadimalla, lyricist Mehboob, Kannada director P Sheshadri, Ranjit Das, Rajesh Mapuskar, and Tripurari Sharma.

Rs. 40 Crore microscope to view atoms
IIT Madras has accomplished its task in making world’s first remotely operated Local Electrode Atom Probe also known as LEAP, which is capable of providing 3D images of the atoms present side by side of any material. This expensive instrument which cost around Rs. 40 Crore is being funded by Department of Science and Technology along with India’s top eight research institute which comprises of IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, and IIT Kanpur. LEAP can be taken in use in many departments of Automobile and energy-related industries.
App Store revenue is double to that of Play Store
Many of us pay on the App Store and Play Store for our favorite games, movies, and Books. And so this creates a revenue for the companies. Apple’s App Store had generated about $22.6 billion worldwide whereas the Play store managed to drive $11.8 billion according to the Sensor Tower. This is during the first half of the year. Taking a look at previous years revenue, App Store managed to make $38.5 billion compared to Google Play Stores $20.8 billion. So according to Thai statics, it looks they will be able to make a record-breaking revenue as compared to the year 2017.

Silk-based hair follicles made
IIT Delhi is being successful in developing silk-based hair follicles which will be helpful in testing the new medicine which is for the treatment of hair loss. For this earlier, the animals were used but if we believe to researcher Sourabh Ghosh, physiological differences in animal and human hair are very high which makes the success rate very less. This was the reason that a 3D in vitro novel of human hair was needed which is now possible.
Charity of $3.4 billion by Warren Buffet
Warren Buffet who is amongst the richest person on the world has donated $3.4 billion to charity institutions. This was the stocks of Berkshire Hathaway which are now for the Bills and Melinda Gates Foundation and other four charity institute which tie up with the Buffet family. In his 87 years of life, he has donated $30.9 billion counting since 2006.

Golden Temples entrances to be gold plated
Entrances of Golden Temple has golden domes which symbolize that the shrine’s door are always open for everyone. And to keep this dome golden, they are to be plated with 160 kg of gold which will be donated by the devotees. According to the officials, most of the devotes donate their jewelry, but they also donate cash for the gold.

Publicly drinking in Goa is finable
Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has said that drinking alcohol in public will now be an offensive act which is to bring in fine of Rs. 2500 which will be started from August 15. The government is yet to issue an official letter but Parrikar said it will be released before August. This step is to prevent the littering of alcohol bottles in the state and making it a cleaner place.

Hawaiian tour boat hit by Lava Bomb
A Hawaiian tour boat was hit by a Lava Bomb in which 23 people were injured due to the breaking to vessel’s roof and the air coming in. According to the officials, this tour boat was outside the US coastguard safety zone. Many be wondering about the Lava Bomb, so it is a natural phenomenon in which a huge cloud of smoke rises due to the mixing of lava and water.
2 Indians in the ‘Worlds Highest Paid Celebs’ list
Very much loved actors Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan have made their way to the list of Worlds Highest Paid Celebrities list of Forbes. Akshay Kumar with the earning of $40.5 million (Rs.276 crore) was ranked 76th whereas Salman Khan with earning of $37.7 million (Rs. 256 crores) was ranked 82nd amongst the top 100 highest paid celebrities. Boxer Floyd Mayweather has topped the list of highest paid celebrity with the earning of $275 million.

The Famous Residence Building in Prabhadevi, Mumbai. The Beaumonde Towers, the High rise Building in Worli where Famous Actresses “Deepika Padukone” lived, House Catches Fire.
It was Reported that the Fire got ignited at around 2 pm on 13th June 18′. Deepika used to live at 26th Floor in Beaumonde Tower. It was a dream House for the Deepika and she took it in the year 2010. She paid around Rs.16 Crore for her Dream Flat House. She had 4BHK and 2776 Sq. feet huge House on the 26th floor of Beaumonde Tower in Worli. Deepika got Vinita Chaitanya to Design this Huge Dream House.

While the Building got fire, Deepika was having a shoot for a Brand and fortunately, the Actress was Safe. It was reported that the Fire got initiated from the 33rd Floor of the Building.
The Mumbai Police and Fire Bridge reported the Fire at Level 3. Around 95 residents were rescued from the Building by Fire Rescue people. What was the Cause of Fire? No one knows till now.

Salman got 5 Years of Jail: Salman Khan BlackBuck Case
Salman Khan faces the Verdict in Blackbuck poaching case from 1998
The Famous and Loved Bollywood Actor “Salman Khan” was sentenced to five Years of Jail time from the Blackbuck and Chinkara Cases in 1998. While Other Actors: Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu, Neelam Kothari were acquitted and were declared free from this Case.
It was the Case from Jodhpur, 1998. The Actors Reached Jodhpur a day before the final verdict of this Case. The Bollywood Actors were reported of killing a blackbuck and a chinkara in separate incidents in 1998, during the shooting of the film “Hum Saath Saath Hain“.

So Here is How The Salman Khan Case run over the last 20 years.
5 April 2018: The Jodhpur court’s final verdict is out. Salman Khan got 5-year jail term and penalty of Rs.10,000. The other actors were released free from this case.
4 April 2018: The Lead Actors of ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ including Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre, Neelam Kothari reached Jodhpur.
15 February 2017: Salman Khan’s lawyer refused to produce evidence. During the recording of statements of the accused on January 27, Khan had pleaded innocence and had expressed interest in producing evidence in his defense. But Salman’s lawyer said that after a detailed study of the file, they decided that there was no need to produce any evidence in defense as all of them have already been produced in the court to prove his innocence. The trial was then scheduled to begin from March 1.
11 November 2016: The Supreme Court agrees to fast-track a plea filed by the Rajasthan government, rules to expedite hearing in the two cases of blackbuck and chinkara poaching case against Salman Khan.
19 October 2016: The Rajasthan government filed an appeal in the Supreme Court against the High Court’s decision of releasing actor Salman Khan in two cases of chinkara poaching, which happened back in 1998.
25 July 2016: The Rajasthan High Court acquits Bollywood actor Salman Khan in the Jodhpur blackbuck and chinkara poaching case of 1998. The High Court said that there was no evidence to prove that the animals who were found dead were shot by the actor’s (Salman Khan)licensed gun.
9 July 2014: The Supreme Court issues a notice to the actor on the Rajasthan government’s plea challenging an earlier Rajasthan High Court order that had suspended his conviction.
24 July 2012: The Rajasthan High Court finalizes charges against all accused in the blackbuck poaching case and and leaves the case.
31 August 2007: The Rajasthan High Court sentences the actor to five years in prison, which was suspended a week later on his appeal. Salman Khan spent the week in the Jodhpur Central Jail. Later, the High Court dropped charges under the Arms Act against him.
10 April 2006: Salman Khan convicted in the hunting case by one of the trial courts under the Wildlife Protection Act. The actor is fined Rs 25,000, and, also sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment.
12 October 1998: Salman Khan, arrested in the connection with the poaching of endangered animals, and eventually, granted bail.
2 October 1998: The Bishnoi villagers register a complaint against Salman Khan and his ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ co-actors on Killing innocent Animals.
