Education System in India vs Education System Abroad
Education is one of the various basic needs for survival in today’s world. The learning, interpretation, and mode of education vary from place to place around the world. In this competitive world, everyone needs better knowledge and education in multiple fields.
Although the way in which it’s delivered is definitely completely different however the aim of inculcating values alongside creative thinking remains common worldwide. More so, education is a well-rounded method that escalates skills, inculcates sensible values and beliefs and knowledge in a person so that temperament of the person is developed.
While we all are aware that each education system has its own positive side and negative side, there are a number of the key factors that build foreign education system more approachable as compared to that of the Indian education system.
Now, let’s discuss the key factors, which differentiates the Indian Education System to that of Abroad.
Creativity / Marks:
We all are very well aware of the fact that, for getting into good College and Jobs, you need good marks. This rushing behind the marks affects students at their creative level. These restrict a student from exploring his/her horizons or passion.
However, the foreign education system allows students to use their minds and think out the box and encourages students to develop their talents and convert their passion into a career.
Theoretical approach / Practical approach:
Both practical and theoretical knowledge is important. However, having more practical oriented education helps the student to be market ready when compared to theoretical knowledge.
Indian Education System is almost theoretical oriented while foreign education system including the US, UK, and Gulf countries more tend to be practical oriented. Moreover, practical education makes the learning easy, interesting and interactive, which helps the student to understand the concepts very easily.
Degree / Knowledge:
To get eligible for any Job here in India, you need to have specific Degree in a particular field doesn’t check the level of knowledge at the initial stage.
Unlike in India, Foreign Countries education is been taken as learning, and companies seek for the talents and skills and not the Degree initially. And the practical knowledge which has been encouraged in their schools will now be the advantage for them.
Option to Switch:
Students studying under the Indian Education System are not allowed to switch their majors during the course. For e.g. If you are a Computer major student then you can’t opt for varied subjects like Languages or Economics in the middle of your course as majors.
However, Most of the universities in European colleges and US-based colleges allow students the options to switch subjects and don’t limit them to just one subject. These very much help a student when he/she is confused about his interest and passion.
Modifications based on the latest and approved research studies are implemented quite late in the syllabus of Indian universities. Day by day latest innovations are being evolved and this needs to be implemented in education to know the latest technology in any field.
Unlike in India, Universities in the US, UK, and other developed countries update their curriculum every few years, hence offering more advanced education.
India has not yet been able to Standardise education in order to attract students from various different countries to choose courses offered by Indian Universities.
While, Foreign Universities have a mixed group of students coming from various countries, to study the courses offered by foreign Universities. Therefore a student gets better exposure.
These were a number of the variations between learning in India vs learning in a foreign country. Whereas India is moving towards digitization, it’s also developing with numerous latest courses. Also, there are several different factors that prove the superiority of foreign education system.

International Space Station: How was it built?
Have you ever been gazing at a starry sky? When suddenly a bright dot glided into view? If it wasn’t blinking, then you’ve had the distinct pleasure of seeing one of mankind’s greatest collaborative feats with your own eyes:
The International Space Station.
Roughly the size of the six-bedroom house, and weighing more than 320 cars, the International Space Station is so large that no single rocket could have lifted it into orbit. Instead, it was assembled piece by piece while hurtling through space at 28,000 kilometers per hour, lapping the Earth once every 90 minutes.
It all started when sixteen nations signed the Space Station Intergovernmental Agreement, laying out each partner’s expected contributions to the ISS, from modules and maintenance to sharing information and finances. At an estimated 100 billion U.S. dollars, the Space Station would be the most expensive object ever built.
The whole world watched as a Russian rocket launched the first module of the ISS into the sky. Zarya, meaning sunrise, was equipped with two solar panels and a propulsion system that had the important task of keeping the young station from crashing into the Earth by staying a safe 400 kilometers away.
The U.S. Space Shuttle Endeavour followed two weeks later carrying Unity, a node module to which other modules could be connected, and an international six-person assembly crew.
Then came Zvezda, which brought communications and living accommodations. Ever since the International Space Station’s first tenants arrived, it’s been continually occupied with more than 200 visitors spending an average of six months on board.
Astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti holds the record for the longest single spaceflight by a woman at 199 days on the ISS. 2001 saw the arrival of Destiny, the first of four research modules, where astronauts spend approximately 36 hours a week conducting extraordinary experiments in microgravity.
Their schedules are packed with exercise, two hours a day to fend off muscle atrophy, station maintenance and repair, and connecting with family or awe-inspired minds around the world. But they still find time for fun, with regular movie nights and even shooting the first music video in space.
Destiny also controls the seven-jointed robotic Canadarm2. Capable of moving more than 100,000 kilograms, it’s perfect for unloading new arrivals from shuttles. 2001 was a busy year for the Space Station with the addition of Quest, the main airlock for strolls outside, and Pirs, a pier for Russian spacecraft to dock including the ever-ready emergency escape vehicle, Soyuz.
Then, on February 1st, 2003, after delivering research modules to the ISS, the space shuttle Columbia exploded during re-entry tragically killing the seven-member crew on board.
After a four-year hiatus, work quickly picked up the pace with the addition of more hubs, airlocks, docks, and an observation cupola for stunning 360-degree views of our world and beyond.
Other critical components included platforms and trusses to support radiators that direct all the heat generated by the station’s electronics into space and solar panels that are efficient enough to power 55 homes.
It took ten years and over 30 missions, but finally, the International Space Station was complete, coinciding with the U.S. Space Shuttle Program’s retirement.
The Space Station continues to serve as an incredible model for international collaboration.
This year, two people began a one-year stay on the ISS, allowing scientists to study the long-term physical and psychological effects of being in space, which would prove useful for increasingly ambitious space travel, like trips to Mars.
Over its lifetime, we’ve learned an immense amount scientifically, but also about our capacity to work together and accomplish truly remarkable acts.
So, this was all about International Space Station.
