ANewswire – Construction Management Inspection LLC (CMI) today announced the launch of its new and expanded online building safety and construction resource center at HawaiiBuildingExpert.com. The website is designed to help Hawaii building owners, condominium associations, property managers, homeowners and industry professionals better understand building maintenance, repair planning, inspections and construction management.

The new website brings together CMI’s services and educational resources in one place. Services include building inspections, capital improvement projects, preventive maintenance, construction management, review of contractor bids, construction defect investigation, litigation support, and expert witness services.

The resource center also organises information related to common building components and safety issues such as concrete spalling, waterproofing, roofing, electrical systems, plumbing, cast iron drain piping, fire alarms, fire sprinklers, painting, wood repair, asphalt repair and premises liability. Other sections include newsletters, webinars, books, project examples, articles by experts and media coverage on building safety and construction issues.

Owners have access to reliable information and act before deterioration becomes an emergency, making building problems easier and often less costly to address’, said Lance Luke, principal of Construction Management Inspection LLC. “The expanded website is designed to help owners, board members and property managers spot key warning signs, ask the right questions and know when to get professional inspection or construction management help.”

CMI has been helping building owners, condominium associations and commercial and residential property managers on Oahu and the Neighbour Islands since 2008. Luke has 45 years of experience in building inspections, construction management, forensic analysis, maintenance planning and construction dispute support.

CMI’s owner-focused approach helps clients plan and manage building repair and capital improvement projects from initial evaluation through completion. Services may include condition assessments, project planning, scope development, assistance with contractor selection, bid analysis, contract administration, site inspections, quality control, cost and schedule tracking, resident or tenant coordination and project closeout.
The website was developed to offer easier access to and understanding of technical building information, and direct access to CMI’s experience across a broad range of property types and building systems. It also provides a central location where community associations and property professionals may review building safety issues before making decisions about maintenance, repair or construction.

HawaiiBuildingExpert.com is an educational and professional resource for anyone looking for information about building conditions, maintenance priorities, construction projects and property safety in Hawaii.
