Facebook Closing there Apps

Facebook is being very very Successful in there main Facebook App and is being used widely all over the globe. Facebook tried there hands on different types of apps like Fitness app, Caller Identifier App, Anonymous Social Media app for Students and Many more. Few are Successful and others aren’t. Which are not that Successful, Facebook is Shutting them Down.

A Fitness App named “Moves”, A Caller Identifier App named “Hello”, A Social Media app for Students named “tbh” are being Shut Down by Facebook, the reason being the “Less Usage of Apps”.

Moves app was launched in 2014. This app Basically helped users in recording their physical activities like walking, running, and cycling. It was well started when Facebook had Acquired with a head start of 4 Million Users. Facebook has updated the App several Times after launching it and still, the stats are around 13 Million as reported by Tech Crunch. Facebook allowed users to download their previous Data from the app till July 31.

Moves App by Facebook

Hello app was launched in 2015. This app was made for Brazil, US, and Nigeria. The app combines Facebook information with the contact list present on your phone. This app Basically was for Caller Identification. Any unknown contact will be identified using Facebook’s data from other users on Contact List. The app Isn’t Updated for a year. Shutting Down in few weeks.

Tbh app was cofounded by Nikita bier (Product [email protected] FB). Later this app was owned by Facebook in 2017. Was basically launched for the High school Students in the USA. Which allows any student to write about anyone without disclosing his/her name to the Public. There was heavy Moderation over every comment, hurtful and Bad comments were deleted.

Well, the date for Shutting down of tbh has not yet disclosed, but in near Future the App is gonna go down.

Japanese company Sony has unveiled its IMX586 which stacks CMOS image sensor and claims to have the world’s highest megapixel count i.e. 48 megapixels. According to Sony, this sensor can be fixed into a smartphone which has 8mm diagonal unit and this sensor is capable enough to capture high-quality images like an SLR with your smartphone.

 

Harvard’s robotic arm can catch sea animals

Researchers of Harvard’s Wyss Institute have developed an origami-inspired robotic arm which is capable enough to catch delicate sea animals without any harm by a technology called RAD (Rotatory Actuated Dodecahedron). This arm has a petal-like structure which forms a structure around the animals within seconds.

 

Mumbai nominated for Guinness record

Navin Lade, who is a resident of Mumbai have stated a nomination for most potholes in Guineas and Limca Book of World Record. This nomination is made in order to shame the municipal corporation after a survey says that there are more than 20,000 potholes in Mumbai. TRAI further added that, if they do not allow the app, the users will be not be recognized by the telecom provider and will face problems.
