Amazon Prime has launched a new show named Comicstaan which will be found next best Stand up comedian. This contestant will be judged by a top comedian of this days. This show will be in nine episodes which will be hosted by Abish Mathew and Sumukhi Suresh. Top ten contestant will be judged by top seven comedians who will be a part of jury panel which includes Tanmay Bhat, Biswa Kalyan Rath, Kanan Gill, Kenny Sebastian, Sapan Verma, Kaneez Surkha and Naveen Richard.
Automatic Rail Washing Plant in Delhi
Indian Railways to install a Coach Washing Plant in Hazrat Nizammudin Station In Delhi which will provide quality washing of rail coaches in highly effective manner. This plant will make better use of water, cleaning materials, manpower and much more. This wash plant us capable enough to wash 250 coaches per day. It takes around 7-8 minutes to fully wash one coach. This plant is meant to use 20% fresh water and 80% recycled water and it will in total use 6000 liters of water from which 4000 liters will be recycled.

Japan to install smart signal in Bangalore
The Japan International Cooperative Agency is thinking of investing 72 crores in installing smart signals in Bangalore to reduce the waiting time of vehicles by around 30%. According to government officials, current traffic signals have a fixed timer but the new smart signal will have the ability to judge the number of vehicles on the signals and change the waiting time accordingly.

Ranbir Kapoor starrer, Sanju, Biopic of a well known Bollywood personality Sanjay Dutt have been loved by the audience worldwide and is a super hit film. 2000 crore money laundering busted in Mumbai
After the raids have been conducted at Bharat Diamonds Brouse in Mumbai, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence has busted a racket of money laundering of about 2000 crore. This fraud was disclosed when a consignment of rough diamond was said to estimate 156 crores by on revaluation it was valued just for 1.2 crores. Four people were arrested, with 10 lakh cash, demand drafts of value 2.2 crore and other cheques, Aadhar cards etc.

Japanese company Sony has unveiled its IMX586 which stacks CMOS image sensor and claims to have the world’s highest megapixel count i.e. 48 megapixels. According to Sony, this sensor can be fixed into a smartphone which has 8mm diagonal unit and this sensor is capable enough to capture high-quality images like an SLR with your smartphone.
Harvard’s robotic arm can catch sea animals
Researchers of Harvard’s Wyss Institute have developed an origami-inspired robotic arm which is capable enough to catch delicate sea animals without any harm by a technology called RAD (Rotatory Actuated Dodecahedron). This arm has a petal-like structure which forms a structure around the animals within seconds.
Mumbai nominated for Guinness record
Navin Lade, who is a resident of Mumbai have stated a nomination for most potholes in Guineas and Limca Book of World Record. This nomination is made in order to shame the municipal corporation after a survey says that there are more than 20,000 potholes in Mumbai. Navin Lade also wants to send a complaint letter if the nomination for his record gots approved.
Snapchat to shut down Snapcash
One of the photo-sharing app Snapchat is now going to shut down Snapcash which is one of their payment service app which was partnered with Square. This app named Snapcash was launched in 3014 and allowed the user to transfer money to friend’s account without coming out of the app.
Alibaba to fund Megvii
Alibaba is going to fund a Chinese AI startup named Megvii for $600 million which is also being funded by Boyu Capital. Megvii also has Ant Finances as an investor as well. Megvii is a startup launched in 2014 which has developed a face scanning technology which is being provided to companies like Lenovo.

Air India apologizes to Indian Table Tennis Team after their officials stopped 17 players and their other officials from boarding Delhi Melbourne flight. David Headley 26/11 mastermind in critical condition
David Headly, being the mastermind behind the 26/11 Mumbai attack is in US jail for his 35-year prison when he was attacked on July 8 and is now in critical condition. He was being attacked as he worked as a double agent for Pakistan and Islamist Terror. This attack comes after he had disclosed information related to the operation of Laskar-e-Taiba which lead to an arrest.

Soldier’s body found after 50 years
After fifty years of AN-12 aircraft of Indian Air Force being crashed, which carried 102 soldiers on board, in Himachal Pradesh’s Lahaul Valley. After Reserve Bank of India announced that they will be circulating new Rs. 100 note, the industry operating ATMs said that investment of Rs. 100 crore is needed for recalibration of 2.4 lakh ATM machines present all over India making them ready to Despenser the new note. Managing Director of Hitachi Payment s Service said that it will require 12 months for this recalibration process.
Wipro to buy Alight’s India Operations
Wipro which is India’s fourth-biggest tech company which is planning to buy US-based company Alight’s India Operations for $117 million (Rs. 804 crores). The alight solution is a US-based company which provides cloud-based financing and HR solution to over 1400 clients. The company has four offices around India in Chennai, Mumbai, Noida, and Gurgaon with around 9,000 employees.
Facebook to build internet satellite
After SpaceX, Facebook is here confirming that they are working on a satellite namely Athena which looks forward to providing broadband internet connection in the rural areas. Previously, Facebook’s internet satellite for Africa was lost when one of the rockets of SpaceX got blasted.

iPhone users may face problems from telecoms
TRAI has warned Apple to allow the installation of app knowns as Do not Disturb launched by TRAI within a period of six months in order to face the problem of unsolicited commercial communication. TRAI further added that, if they do not allow the app, the users will be not be recognized by the telecom provider and will face problems. The Do Not Disturb app by TRAI is already present on play store.

This figure does not include the hotline service charged of the year 2017-18 and also do not include the charted flight costs of the year 2018-19. Amongst the cost given above, Rs. 1088 crore was spent on the aircraft maintenance only.
